Do you guys think that a CBR 929 is too much bike for a beginner?

I am looking into trading my 4wheeler for one, but I'm just afraid of it being way to much.
I have been riding dirtbikes and fourwheelers for about 5 years now, I know throttle control, and mosty importantly, respect for the bike.. I know you can't just hop on and twist the throttle..

I'm also about 220lbs at 5'11" so I'm not a small person, I can throw my weight around easy to control something.. (Which you do a lot in off-road riding)

Also, are these good bikes? It's a 2000 Honda CBR 929.

great bike and if you can control a decently powered 2 stroke you will be fine except for top end just be mature about it

I used to own a RM250.. It was a hell of a bike to control.. lol

im new to ridding too and im on repsol cbr 1000rr and that bike has too much torque for me so like everyone get something small to learn on

This is one thats crappy.. It needs fairings and stuff.. It also has a 506 cage..
