Any tips on cleaning a trans. It's got a ton of road grime, and I ve used a ton of degreaser, but still not looking clean. I just want it to look nice before I put it in my car.

Scotch brite pads and a ton of elbow grease. Simple Green will also work wonders.

If its free of dirt oil and grease then do this as its not going to look as clean as it was when first made by just cleaning it as stuff stains over time and with so much heat.
