So I got off the interstate yesterday and pulled up to the first light. I start going and notice that my speedometer is not working. I keep going and then i realize that the odometer doesn't work either. Took it out for a drive today to see if it would kick back on and no luck. I talked to the local mechanic and he said that it may be bad wires or a bad cluster. Any suggestions or advice?? (2000 Honda Civic Si)

and I just passed emissions and now I can't drive it! damnit.

check to see your speed sensor didnt come loose or go bad. (its on your tranny) if not you can change out the speedo with another without changing the whole cluster. And by the way your odometer isnt working cuz your speedo isnt. the odometer runs off the speedo basically

i'll check on it tomorrow. it's on the tranny by the passenger side axle right??

yes sir it is. follow your wiring harness where it goes to your tranny and you'll find it
