I was thinking about turning my 7 into a drift car.

I just wanted to get some advice from some of the more experienced people around here since im a n00b.

Im already planning to go 13Btt and a roll cage.

Any other mods you guys would have in mind?

Also, might wanna look into the rear suspension...The stock geometry can bind causing uncontrollable oversteer

yea, dont mess w/ the tt...its not gonna be worth it in the end, especially after you port a s4/s5 turbo motorset. depending on how much power your looking to make you wanna look into a bnr setup, fmic, fuel pump, maybe new injectors, ALL NEW suspension parts, and turboback exhaust, and many more. If you're serious about it, I can do the motor for you as 85rx-7gsl-se can vouch we do good work. and past that, if you're still serious we are 2 of your best options to talk to on the site about it.

Yeah, Matt and Charles do great work. I am running a S4 13BT built by them with their mild streetport, a BNR Stage 1 Turbo, Microtech Standalone, and water/meth injection.

only mod I would recommend is do a rotary removal mod and replace it with the more advanced, better piston version

dont supercharge it unless you want to just be different. s4/s5 t2 motor will be sufficient enough. we can have you a very capable motor built to withstand about 650+whp for relative cheap which would be a GREAT starting point, even with stock turbo and then go from there as you feel necessary.

rotary's are good motors if you take care of them. just like any other motor. fd's got a bad rep at first because people wouldn't ever beat on them and theyd shift before 4k always. and that would just lead to a bunch of carbon build up. unfortuntely they are notorious for numerous electrical problems though. fd's arent really my thing but there are a few clean ones out there. and a 4 rotor setup is nothing any of us will ever come across or have the joy of messing with. only ballers need apply for that setup.

my blue car, charles truck, charles's sa, charles vert, have no motor problems and the truck and my blue car were brokin by charles/matt or launching at 5 right after crank.....rotarys aren't bad people that don't know how to work on rotarys or maintain cars are bad.

Yeah, I would avoid the supercharger...Most don't make more power than a stock 13BT engine so I don't see the point. My GSL-SE with a stock used JDM 13BT and stock turbo with just intake and exhaust ran a 8.45 in the 1/8th and a 13.39 in the 1/4 with ease.
