at least i think its an EJ6 ... 2000 Civic DX coupe? idk honda stuff

anyways, its got 97k miles ... 5spd ... dent on drivers side that could be pulled out but its probably about a 4" radius in size, and various dings that could be fixed ... window trim is peeling on the front windows ... other than that, it looks to be in good shape

what do you think a good price for it would be, and if i picked it up do you think it would be trade-worthy? KBB Suggested Retail is $6k in excellent condition [which its not] ... if you know me you know that i wouldnt want to keep a honda for very long, so the only reason id want to pick it up would be for a daily until i can find something better

some pics:

With such a bad time to sell a car you should be able to talk them down considerably. Offer them 3K and settle around $3250-$3500 at most but I'd have to see the car to get a fair estimate.

Venom, lowball them at $3000. Its not really even a lowball, but when gas prices go back up you can make much more than that. Hondas usually sell for a little more than what they're really worth just because they have a good reputation.

thats not really a bad price. but i would def try and talk em down, bc like stated above the economy sux and they need to sell stuff to make a living. they prolly only paid like 2k for it anyways. the worst they can say is no. and then if they do then just haggle the shit out of them

nah its not a bad price as it is ... but idk how much that 1 dent will cost to pull out, and as far as the dings and stuff it has + the window trim peeling will probably be a bit to fix as well

i had a pdr guy estimate my old si. and it wasn't as bad as a lot of people say. it was only like 250 for all the dents. and it had some door dings! lol and tint is only about 80 to be stripped and problem add 50 to reapply it

but on a serious note 3k out the door seems pretty fair to me. i see these things all day long and they can really last forever. and if anything does happen its probably the easiest motor to work on, like ever. and parts are everywhere and super cheap. even if you aren't going to keep it long those are a few things to think about.

I've had 3 EJ6's... Being right under 100k you can talk them down a couple hundred b/c a new timing belt and water pump is due. and also bc it's a DX. But 4k is a fair price if it has no mechanical issues. Not the best deal, but a decent asking price.
