Oh my god!!! Thats just crazy. Sucks for sure and i hope he gets another one. Seems like all the info is over on the Tennesspeed.net. Says dude was going over 100 mph and lost control in a corner on 1-24 and hit a concrete wall!! Guess that shows the car is built really well. They also said the driver was ok and that the passenger had a broken leg. damn

its always the semi truck drivers fault....even thou i ride through nashville with my turn signal on till the lane ends and still ride the shoulder...
i would have drove his ass off in the ditch also...kids cant drive/ok all of nashville cant drive, learn to respect something bigger than you.
"big trucks" cant accelerate or brake nearly as fast as your "4 wheeler" so give us more room and time...pay attention to our signals (that have been flashing for miles) as we need to get over...and if you get ran off the road or have to brake hard...its usually your fault, we are professionals.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take the time to confirm to all of you that I was the owner of the totaled GTR from 9/6/08. It is totaled. I understand the speculation that has come about from this accident and yes it was my GTR. I suffered minor injuries, while my best friend who I have known for 17yrs was the passenger and suffered a broken left leg and broken right ankle. He is on the road to recovery and is doing much better since, and its quite possible he may be able to use crutches in a couple of weeks.
I was not even close to 100mph. No one and I seriously mean no one survives a 100+mph crash hitting a rock wall. I have detailed pictures of the totaled vehicle including a pic of the speedometer which is frozen just under 60mph.
I am 27 and an experienced driver with a clean driving license since I started driving at age 15 with a hardship license. I have an auto collection, including an M3, M5, 911 Turbo S, Audi R8, as well as a 2nd GTR that is arriving in Nov.08, and am scheduled to be one of the first for the GTR V-Spec, the Lexus LF-A, and the Aston Martin DBS.
As of now I'm not sure if I'm going to take delivery of my 2nd GTR, and I may end up auctioning it on Ebay without a reserve and send the proceeds to my local charity.
Regardless, I wanted to post this online to confirm that I was the owner of the 1st totaled GTR, and to my best friend, his family, friends and GTR/Car Enthusiasts everywhere, I sincerely apologize.
For those that wished us well, I appreciate it very much.
For those that had negative comments to make, I understand why you said what you said.
