Soo got a set of HIDs and have been through 3, yes 3 completely different sets of housings. The problem with my current and so far best set is that there is no cut off at ALL looks like full blown high beam all the time. They are adjusted as low as I can get them and im still lighting up the top of interstate signs as I pass them. Anyone out there know a good set that could fix my problem for the 4th and possibly final time?

Do a complete housing retrofit with a projector to get the good cutoff you are looking for... you won't be able to do ANYTHING like that with just a regular housing like you have now. You have to install projectors. Here is what one looks like.... on the left:

DONT USE HALOGEN PROJECTORS

+1 thats probably the worst thing you can do if you u use the halogen housing you blind everyone in oncoming traffic and have hot spots shoot everywhere...definatly go with the projector housing...

Just any car that came with OEM HID's will be a high quality piece... search your junkyards, pick-a-parts, etc etc. Don't buy em off ebay.

Examples:

Acura TSX's
BMW's (Of any kind really)
Audi's (Of any kind)

Do your research though... I hear it can be kinda tricky, especially for first timers. I have never done it, but I ASSUME the hardest part is getting everything aimed up before actually attaching it to the housing themselves... but I'm no sure... I am certain though that the projector itself SHOULD, SHOULD have some sort of adjustment method...

Good luck though man.

As Kevin said, TSX projectors are one the easiest projectors to work w/ and they have a great cut-off and finish. They're reasonably sized so they are applicable to almost any car. Plus they're one of the cheapest.

Since you have pop-ups you may have problems fitting in projectors, and you may also not be able to put the lights down ever again. It can be done but I haven't looked at those threads in ages. Search on Nico, Zilvia, and 240sxforums for retro-fitting in pop-ups. There's several threads on them
