Im trying to take off the oil pan in my brother's 96 Prelude with a H22a4 but it doesnt seem like its gonna come off. I've already taken off all the nuts and bolts but its stuck. Any suggestions anybody?

ok what you do is you take a chain.....put the drain plug bolt through the chain and bolt it back into the pan...hook the chain up to a truck and drive away! and fwala! oil pan comes off.




or you could just double check to make sure you have all the bolts out and tap around the top with a hamer or use a pry bar....but if you try the first one i want pictures!

You can pry the pan off on the back side of the pan. There is a few spots where there are tabs on the pan where you can put a screwdriver between the pan and the block and pry (if it has the aluminum pan, I can't remember). It should pop off. There is no gasket to speak of between the pan and the block, just permatex. That is what is holding the pan to the block.
