I have to agree with the 10mpg and 250whp thing. That's horrible I hate driving my car since it gets about the same amount of gas millage but I make more power than that. Can it not be tuned better to get better fuel economy? I'm hoping to get better than stock after my tune which is possible. Honestly, once my ignition gets sorted out, I will probably be closer to 13 city/18 highway. Part of my problem is a tiny ass turbo that is next to impossible to keep outta the boost. To get to 40mph and stay outta the boost while doing that takes about 15 seconds probably. Plus, even with a fully ported wastegate and a 7lb spring, the car will boost creep as high as 19psi :shock:AznTwins said:I have to agree with the 10mpg and 250whp thing. About time someone showed up with an 80's car with some nuts to it. I had two of those things (well, a Conquest and a Starion), and my Starion was by far the most fun of my "early" cars. It's been almost 10 years, but I still miss that car. I'm guessing that you've got a "19C Race Turbo" as they call it? I had a Big16 on mine, with a host of other parts. Great looking car, and clean at that. Do you ever hang around any of the Starquest members in TN? I used to a LONG time ago, and am on Starquestclub.

^^^ its like the old school hks front mount kit for the fc's so you can keep power steering... very unorthodox.

iget around 20 mpg... your have some issues getting only 10... the car is fun i love it... yeah i hang out with some of the local starquest members.. and yes it is a 19c race turbo... i just got the crome pipes installed, and am going to crank up the boost to about 20 after i get a better pump.. but gotta go be baack on later.

Well,
A) Its a rotary which are known for poor fuel economy
B) Tiny Turbo which is almost always in boost
C) Tuned with 13:1 afrs at idle, 14s at cruise, 10.8-11.2s under boost.

Nice starion! I use to have two of them....drifted one into a ditch.
