Ok I have a 2000 Civic SI, and I am ready to paint my car but I can't deside on if I should keep the stock color or change it. My options are the stock Milano Red or change it to Black. I am building this car completely stock minus the CTR heads I got for it, but I am looking for peoples opinion on what color will look the cleanest. Here is the pic of my car with stock color now. Let me know people's opinion cause either way I am respraying jams and engine bay. Thanks

Black is by far the best color but your bodywork better be flawless or the black is gonna look like shit.I like the milano red myself.

That's a really nice red. I'd keep it.
Plus, less of a headache keeping the stock color than doing a color change.

Edit:
Agreed on the black. Bodywork has got to be A+ or it may not turn out all too nice...

I know my bodywork must be flawless I have painted a few cars black and learned from my mistakes. But the only thing I may do different if I do a color change is paint the interior but even if I keep it red I am respraying all jams, engine bay, and pretty much treating it as a color change cause some of my jams are scratched up and it all needs to be sprayed so which would would look clean and not stick out when it comes down the road on you. Cause I am building a really nice clean motor to hopefully blow some people away on the interstates.

the bodywork is going to be flawless either way it goes, i am not going to half ass this car. so other than a shit ton of black civics on the road its about which is the cleanest and woud look the best, cause i am running either black or polished wheels, i have blacked out windows, and ctr headlights as some know has a gunmetal shade to them instead of the chrome oem look.

yes there are to many honda's period that is why it shouldn't be based on how many other red or black civics are on the road. I would do something totally different but again I don't want my civic to stick out anymore than the others. Thats the point of a sleeper in my mind which is my goal for the EM1. Thanks everyone for your input.

I also have a cf hood, lip, and trunk for this car. I think cf looks good on both cars just more noticable on a red car. This has to be the hardest decision for me lol. I love both colors and can't decision for anything. But thanks for everyones input

dude the color of the car doesn't change your insurance cost. I have owned red and black and many more colors and its no different, its the type of car and your driving record.
