Well after a long time pondering I've decided to let people on here know what I’ve been up too with the TRAC HOR, instead of spending all this money just to keep it a secret.
...........

So just going through the entire engine fixing and cleaning a lot of things and along the way fabbing up some novelty items.

Here’s a short LIST:

FULL engine gasket set
New water pump
New clutch master and slave
Upgraded BIG brakes (lol went from 1 piston to 2 on the fronts and rotors from 10” to 13” hahaha)
New tie rods/ends & ball joints
New Wheel bearings in the front
New timing components
COP setup
3”GM MAF
EAGLE forged chrome-moly crankshaft
ACL engine bearings
APexi N1 cat back exhaust
Megan Racing downpipe
Brian crower valve springs and Titanium retainers
Ferrea Copper alloy Exhaust valve guides and Bronze/Manganese intake guides
Ferrea valve stem seal kit
Solid engine mounts
Battery box

Block leveled and crankshaft and rods/pistons balanced by Shacklett Auto.

engines getting assembles this weekend.

for now thats it :D

Nice build should be all freshened up. But i see no cams, gotta put some cams in it so when it thumping with those solid mounts you get to feel it all. Im sure youve done your reading but you do know you will also need a translator for the gm mas.

he all ready has HKS big 272 cams for it they where in the car when he got it.

can't wait to see this thing running for a few months cause it is a dsm and we all know what will happen to it :rofl:

are u reusing stock rods? i didnt see any up there and if i remimber right the car still had stock 1g big rods with ross pistons if you need any parts check out my for sale thred its linked in the sig

ECMlink V3 = no translator needed.

as for cams see below


he all ready has HKS big 272 cams for it they were in the car when he got it.

cheers but i got a deadline to meet so cant afford a big build,
yes on the stock rods and ross pistons.

so i guess id better do an update since i finally saved enough to grab some things for her.

been a while because of barely being able to pay bills....

$5.50 an hour "under the table" was getting me bye for the last 6 months....
not really fair but it got me by...

so when my green card came through i sold me soul to advance of hendersonville and been there since...

anyhow...

these beauties just came in...

A new refurbished EPROM ECU fully socketed and ready to go!


GM MAF Cable (direct hookup) Also comes with optional IAT and Map inputs.


USB to OBD1 cable as well as Clutch safety switch.
