The po spun at barber and a porsche had target fixation and clipped that wheel.

The car was really hard to drive with that suspension set up.

Jack finished Tiging up the driveshaft & added a fuel return line to gas tank.

Im still waiting on some parts to come in to finish some of the wiring.

Im not sure. there is still a good deal of wiring to do & im still waiting on my fuse box to come in, need a fuel pump,theres a lil bit of exhaust work, & mount the seats.

Driveshaft shop in Nashville. They built the custom 3" driveshaft for my turbo 13B 1st gen rx7.

I honestly didn't even have it priced. I always try not to take anything to a shop unless I Absolutely have to. I mean the whole car is all ready allmost 100% hand made.

So how are you balancing the driveshaft?

Ill look into clinards. Cause i definitely dont have the machinery for that.
I can balance the rotor system & drive shafts on a helicopter does that count? lol

Well she runs! It still needs some wiring trouble shooting but it's getting there. But what really sucks is we got to pull the motor & tranny just to install the nutual & speed sensor.

Clinard's doesn't balance anyway. They use heat and quench method. Old school! Anyone with a lathe, a torch, some water, compressed air and a dial indicator can do it.... No but seriously it's old school skill. A dying art.

Looks like you may need to add one more motor mount. That thing shakes like crazy on startup. Can't wait to see it driving.

Messed around with it today & got it to run & idle a crap ton better.
It doesn't shake half as bad. Now thats out of the way i still need to pull the swap out & allso mount the seats before i can take here for a test drive... cant wait.

I remade the squishy worn rubber motor mounts with delrin pucks. And Damn if it didn't make throttle response better, I was totally surprised how bad the others really were

One of my Mounts is brand new & the other is pretty old & worn, I might experiment with some stiffer mounts later.

Today We pulled the swap back out & installed the reverse & speed sensor,stuffed her back in, & put everything back together again.

After I got her Together I drove her back & forth in the driveway for a few min's to make sure everything was working right (got alot of funny Looks) & then Drove her down the street & back.
Didnt go very fast since i still dont have brakes besides for the ebrake & the seat isnt mounted.

One step at a time.
