yeah so the little cable the opens your hood when you pull the lever got disconnected, it looks similar to a bicycle brake cable(if that helps at all)

anyway does anyone know how to go about solving this?
im certain that there is a way to fix this without sawing my hood apart because i remember someone else having the same problem without having to do that so yeah

any pointers?
advice?
any help is appreciated
i live in antioch and i will buy anyone who helps me (if anyone is willing to lend me a hand) with this dinner/lunch/breakfast depending on the time...

p.s.
assholes, please stay out of this

Well since the cable is fucked anyway, reach between the back side of the bumper and radiator support and pull the cable with a set of pliers. It may mess up the cable, but you get the hood open. You could also do this easier if you can fit your hand between the grille in the bumper. Reguardless, your going to need a new hood latch cable. go to a junk yard(or do it right and go to the dealership) and get a new hood latch cable. This will also require the removal of your bumper, drivers side fender, and some interior trim panels.

Most of the hood cables list for less than $20 brand new at the dealer. I would recomend a brand new cable if you are going through that much hassle to get the hood open. or you can always just make a remote hood latch cable location...

You can try to reach inside your drivers side fender and actually grab the cable. Physically pull the cable within the fender and that might undo the hood latch. Also if you got small enough hands you can reach from underneath the front bumper when elevated and pull the latch. Ive done it before.
