Alright guys so i know everyone on here has always talked crap about my Volks being abused or garbage. Well first off i would just like to say to those people, go buy more rotas and STFU. Now on to better things...

So i have been dealing with the contractor's insurance company in order to replace my bent TE and things haven't been going well. They will NOT budge with offering me 50% of the cost to replace the wheel. They keep arguing that they dont have proof it happened on their job site. SO... i decided to look around to see about getting the bend fixed and stumbled upon a new wheel retailer here in Murfreesboro called, WHEEL WORKZ. I spoke with the guys up there and figured out that they can fix the bend, but cant guarentee the paint to match. I also stopped by PowderPro and spoke with them about having the wheels powdercoated. Some of you may know Zong had his blue Enkei's done there at PowderPro so you know they do a pretty damn good job.

This is where i am stuck. I cant decide what i want to do with the wheels. I have many options as far as paint, powdercoating, and refinishing. I'm sure most of you know what the wheels look like as they are, but here a pic of them on the car to help out with the opinions and some pics of the colors too.

im just saying...shit town kids have been know to buy cheap shit and put fake stickers on them....and 250 is outrageous for plastic stickers...

when my wheels leave the pc'er...im not replacing the stickers...you can tell a authentic wheels from junk.
volks don't have casting marks all they have is the plates on the inside and if you know what your lookin at you can tell real TE37 from ROTA's by the bolt pattern.
my 19's do. "rays" "eng" 'forged"

i think they dont have casting marks in the lower sizes.
yes the newer Volks do but the old School ones don't. I understand what your sayin spoolie. Mine aren't fake and the stickers cost so much bc they don't want punk kids buyin them and putting them on Rota's. by the way do you even remember me? I meet you a few years ago at a Team-integra meet in The Boro. i have the 98 ITR
Long story short, my wheels are 150% real! I have all of the inner wheel stickers with the ID#'s as well as the stickers showing the date which the wheel was shipped over to the US from Japan AND the inner hub of the wheel is stamped RAYS ENG. Everyone else knows what they are for sure. I DO NOT buy fake wheels. In fact i have NEVER owned a set of Rotas in my life. I just really dont want to pay $200 for a set of 8 fuckin decals!!! Who the hell would??? Especially after all the money i've already dumped into having these wheels refinished. I could've bought like 3 sets of knockoff TE's by now!

On a side note, the wheels and lugnuts will probably be finished by tomorrow or so. I will be sure to post some pics of the wheels when i see them. Thanks guys
Til I saw the last part of your message I was about to say, "how proud I was of you and to STFU and post up the pics already."

But, I guess I can wait til tomorrow... :)
Indeed Paul's always had real wheels.. And, I wouldnt mine paying $250 for the stickers.. B/C I mean if you got baller shit, you got to pay the baller price..
Well guys i found an awesome deal yesterday and jumped on it. Bought some REAL AUTHENTIC time attack decals. I'm not gonna tell where and how much because i done want to see another damn set of rotas rolling around with real decals again. But i will tell you i didnt pay anything near $200. Here's a pic of them.

Thanks alot guys. Sorry i'm not able to get on here more often to update. But i am going over to PowderPro today and hopefully picking them up. And will snap some pics with the camera so i can show you guys. I may get the stickers in today or tomorrow.

Yes the wheels and lugnuts have been done in a 2 stage powdercoat. The first stage was the gloss black and the second was a cover coat. Im really hoping they turned out like i wanted them to. Here's a few sneak peak snaps Duncan took for me before the 2nd stage was done.
