Alright guys so i know everyone on here has always talked crap about my Volks being abused or garbage. Well first off i would just like to say to those people, go buy more rotas and STFU. Now on to better things...

So i have been dealing with the contractor's insurance company in order to replace my bent TE and things haven't been going well. They will NOT budge with offering me 50% of the cost to replace the wheel. They keep arguing that they dont have proof it happened on their job site. SO... i decided to look around to see about getting the bend fixed and stumbled upon a new wheel retailer here in Murfreesboro called, WHEEL WORKZ. I spoke with the guys up there and figured out that they can fix the bend, but cant guarentee the paint to match. I also stopped by PowderPro and spoke with them about having the wheels powdercoated. Some of you may know Zong had his blue Enkei's done there at PowderPro so you know they do a pretty damn good job.

This is where i am stuck. I cant decide what i want to do with the wheels. I have many options as far as paint, powdercoating, and refinishing. I'm sure most of you know what the wheels look like as they are, but here a pic of them on the car to help out with the opinions and some pics of the colors too.

its hard to get a car that smokes worse than mine....... but that will be fixed very soon

ADMIN!!!! Please delete all of this bullshit out of the thread so it doesn't get locked!!!

And on a side note, the wheels will be mounted Friday at the earliest since thats the earliest i get paid. I have put on the Rays valve stems and dice caps, but i dont trust myself to mount the tires. I dont wanna crack or chip the powder!

Side note, Im not too excited about these Te's... I hope I like them better on the car. Its my favorite wheel made, so you better not Eff it up!!!

I found the old decals i pulled off the wheels before and decided to see how the black and white ones looked. So here's a shitty cell pic.

And since i cant mount them til Friday, i found a use for them in the apartment...

white stickers look good on there but isnt that your door panel cloth in between the wheels ? you have a nice little combo going with the black and white cow thing .... love to see it all together !

See the problem with that guys is that i already bought the Time Attack decals and they're on there way. I totally forgot i had these couple white ones til i pulled out the inner barrel stickers out to put them on. I'm not sure if i like the black and white just yet. I'm gonna look at the TA ones when i get them and see how they look. If i like the black/white, then i'll just have to order those and sell the TA's. But i'm putting all of the inner wheel stickers on today and making sure all the valve stems are tight and ready for mounting tomorrow. I'm also gonna tape up my lug key so i dont crack or scratch the lugnuts when mounting as well. So be ready to see pics with the tires mounted tomorrow.

And yes that is the rest of my door panel material. I've been saving it to attempt the headliner, but i havent had the balls to take it apart yet. Now if Josh(civiclydumped) would let me know when he is planning on doing his, we could do it together!!!

isnt one spoke suppose to say " rays" and the other suppose to say "volk racing"?

Yeah Johnny they are. But those were the only ones i was able to salvage from taking them off before i dropped them off that the mediablaster. I just wanted to see how they looked. Myself and a buddy attempted to mount the tires on the wheels today since we had time, but our tire machine at work BLOWS!!! So it looks like i will either have to wait til Duncan can do them saturday, or just go have them mounted somewhere else tomorrow.

Haha why not??? Its not that hard to mount them as long as you have a decent tire machine to go with it. Our machine at work just cant handle mounting lower profile tires. You really have to stretch the shit out of them!
