I remember that yellow sunfire. That was old wreckless. Just like Brian Bullock of Kaotic. Old Wreckless. If you're gonna judge us by what we used to be, it's whatever, but we're not the same anymore, we're getting back to our roots.
I'm Ken, I'm one of the leaders of Wreckless Motorsport, and I've been building the site for a little over 2 weeks now. I wanna thank TJ for starting this thread, and hopefully I'll have our forum up within a week or 2, I'm just rediculously sick of looking at code, but I guess I'll get to work on it soon, probably on my laptop while I'm at work. Sorry I launched an incomplete product, but I felt like it needed to go ahead and come up, and slowly get replaced as time goes along. My eventual goal for the site is just like the goal for my IS... to be badass. So yeah, forum coming soon.
I'll admit, I bought my IS as it is right now. I caught a deal on it and couldn't pass it up. It's one of those things, ya know? It's like Mike's Integra. You're right, he didn't build it, but that's ok, cause it's strong as hell and is ready for boost, and he got it for a great price. No one on this board would pass on a car that is done right and at a good price just because it's not stock. If you leave it that way, or if you claim that you built it, that's where the problem lies. There were a few problems with the teg when mike got it, but he's worked them out, had a few honda guys check it out, and the car is running right. But that's not saying that he can't build one, and I don't hear anyone saying that... anyone remember his green 4-door civic? I know a lot of evo and vette owners remember the view of his tail lights pulling away.
We're not here to pressure you to join the club, but you should seriously stop and talk to us if you're thinking about one. We're not gonna trash you, or talk down to you, or avoid you for not joining us. We all have a lot of friends who aren't with us in the club, I have a lot of friends who are in other clubs or refuse to run with one, and that's fine. Wreckless is more than a club, it's more of a support network. We never like to see a brother down, and that's what we're built on. We want to get to the size of where we were a few years ago, without the same cocky attitude. We're looking for people who want to hang out, want to run with us when we go somewhere, like going to shows, working on cars, and especially meeting new people. If you see us out, or see us at any of the events on the calendar page, talk to us. Find out if we're as cool as I say we are. If we aren't, whatever, you tried, and must have caught us on a bad day, or you came expecting us to be assholes. We're not, we CAN be, but we generally aren't. Meet up with us at the Bridge on Saturday nights, hang out, and talk to us, and go to steak and shake with us afterwards.
Thanks,
Ken
and check out the site, and keep watching, some things are changing almost every day.
