Ask any S2000 owner and they'll tell you. S's run very odd offsets. Anything below +45 for front and +65 for the rear require fender modding. Even the stockers are really high offsets.

Yeah.... no. I think that you should have done more research before buying wheels. Yes the stock offsets are high, but having to modify fenders just to run anything below 45 and 65 is just plain stupid.

These are only "in the mean time" wheels. Found a really great deal from a fellow S owner, $225 plus my stockers, so I'm pretty happy with the deal.

Do you own an S? Have you done research S2000 specific? I did. You can't run low offsets on the rears without fender modding and I didn't want to do that. This is no 350Z.

LOL he did own an S, and a very clean one at that, and had nice wheels on it too btw and I guarantee his offset wasn't +70 in the back... Man I never even knew they went that high... I got +40 on the Camry and I thought that was bad...

In any case... Congrats on the new wheels! They look better than the stock ones... Only thing I don't like is that it looks like you got some Nexen tires... Definitely a downgrade from stock IMO... To each his own...

Don't mean to offend. I didn't realize he had an S at one time. Yeah the Nexans are going very soon. They came with the wheels, and yes they suck. going to get new rubber end of this month.

And to be honest, yes +70 is crazy, but they really do look better in person.
