Replaced all 4 ball joints......man oh man were they tired. I am pretty sure that was the last thing that needed to be "fixed" per say. Anything I do from here on out should be modification.

I can't think of anything else that needs fixed really.

Got this in the mail the other day to adorn my 102" whip

Oh...been awhile.....

Drove it 62 miles round trip a couple weekends ago, last longest trip was 34 miles, came back a tad dirty, was a fun drive.

Things that still need to happen:
Re-index rear for a few inches of lift
Cut up my front beam and weld in adjusters for a few inches of lift
Brackets to raise seats
Clean up all the freaking wiring
Fabricate mount, then mount and wire in this little craigslist find

and.......well, I'll save the and for later.....I'm pretty excited about the and though, it's a rather unique modification.

Last weekend:

Started off by re-indexing the rears:

I decided on the "chain method" and let me tell you I was nervous the whole way through.

End result.....around 2 or 3" of lift (I actually didn't take measurements, oh well) and stiff as hell rear:

Then after I recovered from being old and out of shape I dropped this jerk of a thing out of the front so I could install my lift.

What a pain that was.

Then started hacking and welding:

I got one done then the pizza arrived and I lost the motivation to finish:

She won't be on the road for a bit, I snapped the bolt that holds the pitman arm on, so I'll have to wait on a replacement and I am also waiting on new longer travel shocks and a steering coupler.

I'm also considering a new steering box as mine has a bit of slop even after adjustment.

Reinforced the shock mounts, cleaned off years of gunk, cut out some rust and patched it up and shot some paint on it.

New longer shocks came in too:

I'm waiting on bearings, bushings and a limiter setup before it all gets put back together.

With snowpocalypse, me getting sick, then the wife, then me again I hadn't done much until the other day.

While everything was apart I wanted to reinforce the bumper mounts since they looked a bit weak.

I also managed to get the winch mounting plate and bracing for it done.

I plan on putting it all back together and getting it out and rolling again tomorrow.
