Well if anyone hasnt heard the word in the boro of someone swapping a rb25 into a 300zx nows your chance, iv heard that im like the 4th guy to do this swap in the u.s. and the first 2 who did it wrecked . Ive opted out in not doing the swap on my own im letting a couple of my friends do it at there garage, its almost like im restoring it 2 we gutted the car and put everything new in it execpt the center console, as of now the engine is in the car and i will have pics up soon promise...

but i need help finding a paint guy in the boro???

i have not heard of this said swap and usually nothing gets by my in the boro. someone somewhere is always telling me about something going on. and I've heard nothing of the sort.

Im actually not all that into the rb motors. However I think it is badass for one to be installed in a z32.

Did you rewire the few necessary pins on the stock ecu and just use the stock ecu or did you go with the rb ecu?

don't want to discourage you or anything but if you will in fact be the 4th in the U.S. it's probably for a reason: the VG is a better engine for the 300zx.

hell, the VG is a good motor for most nissans. i'm not knocking the RB, hell, I have one in my s13. I am just saying I would much rather have a TT V6 under the hood to help with weight distribution instead of a longer straight 6.

ya i understand that but latley everybody has been swapping the tt into there z32, at first i was also but then i said i want somthing different yet powerfull and i first had thought of the rb26 but i opted for the rb25, i will find out when i actully get my car running to find out... if i should have stuck with the vg...

well locally your not the first, a guy named Patrick that used to work at Performance Concepts did a 25 in his 300zx and then sold it. He works at S&S Motorsports now In murfreesboro. If your friends need any help he may have some useful pointers.
