I went to mighty muffler in town and the guy said it is impossible to got even 2.24 and 2 would be a super hard deal. I have seen 3 inch installed and i know that it is possible. butthe question is what size should i go with?i plan to do a KA swap in the near future. what are some good shops to get a header back made, and how muchshould i expect it to cost? also what type of canister should i go with and does anyone have one that they are getting rid of?

I dunno i wouldnt do the style muffle you posted. I would do just a regular fartcan. do 3" dont do a 2.5" you'll love the 3". Also on a s12 does the piping have to go over the subframe? or is it like a s13/s14?

i have 3" exhaust and it sounds nice.

my s14 exhaust doesnt go over the subframe boosted. stock exhaust didnt either.

in that case. a custom strait pipe exhaust doesnt have to go over anything. could just do the n1 angle thing and have it pretty much strait to a muffler. not sure how ground clearance on the exhaust would be. the lowest point should be around the rear axels though.

Thats why i was asking if on a s12 if the exhaust goes over the subframe. If it does tha is more than likely why they wont do 3" because the space is to tight. But if it goes under the subframe then they should have no problem doing it. Will a s13 catback not bolt up? i know alot fo s13 parts will swap to a s12.

not the exhaust it it is way diffrent. but i dont i will see if they can run it under i will go out and measure it, the thing is i want to put coilovers on it soo i need to check the cground clearance

man that junt is gonna be way different...keep in mind that straight axle business out back. If they won't do it, bring it to hopkinsville to Little River Radiator..they are super cheap and do a really good job.

click around zilvia..the dyno charts on a KA comparing stock vs. 2.5" vs. 3" exhaust are pretty insane. 3" adds the power regardless. If you thought it would work, I would sell you my Megan exhaust, i found a 3" N1 i kinda want..
