so i read that if you run low impedance injectors you have to wire in a resistor box from a DSM to work.. will you still have to do this if the car is tuned? also, will any other resistor work, like obd0/1 hondas?

any help is appreciated.

yes, even with a tune you need to do the resistors. It makes them communicate with the ecu properly. I dont know about the dsm box though, it probably works but you can get the dropping resisters for a few bucks from some places. JGY comes to mind even though I dont care for them personally, ordering a part like that would be no big deal. Also summit.

If you have a voltmeter most of them have a resistance measurement function. I'm pretty sure you can use the honda box... as your trying to drop the voltage down from 12V to something like 5V

yes...the cheapest box is off a obd0 honda... even with AEM you still use a resistor box.
i picked up my box from pull-a-part for 2 dollars.

yeah and there are tons of those out there.
