Thanks. Kind of an update, I haven't done anything to the car. It's still running and just being my daily. Once it warms up and I sell my home and get into another with a garage I'll start tearing it apart to do the interior swap.

Well... Ran into the first issue.
It wouldn't start so I replace the spark plugs and fuel filter (thinking it might have been clogged ) with no luck.
I'm going to rent a fuel pressure test kit from auto zone and check the fuel pump. ( what I think it is )
So I guess we will see.

After I get it running again I would like to replace the trans fluid and rear diff fluid.

You could also spray some starter fluid into the intake to see if it fires up. If it does you know you have a fuel issue. Can you hear your fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition on?

I keep forgetting about this thread.

So, I replaced the Spark Plugs, Fuel Filter and Valve Cover gasket.
I went to Autozone and got the fuel line pressure kit and it showed 0 pressure.
Well, I went to unhook the fuel pump and it cut on! WOAH!

It turned out just to be a dirty plug, cleaned and greased the plug and haven't had an issue out of it since.

LOL! So now I have a little more than $500 into the car with getting spark plugs and fuel filter, which I'm sure it needed!

I'm making a trip today to the junkyard to get some small interior pieces, screws and plastic clips.

I also fixed the driver door handle. Since I bought it it's been shitty, I'd have to hold
the door handle frame on the inside and use my other hand to pull the latch.
Well I finally took the door panel off, it was just missing a screw... Installed screw and it's perfect!

The other issue i'm working out today is the passenger window, it slid out of it's track.

I got it back in the track but the reason is because one of the clips that holds the bottom of the glass slipped and it no longer holds the glass. So I'll have to remove the adhesive, put new adhesive in there and slip the glass back into that clip/bracketholder and all will be well.

The only other major issue is the sunroof, something broke or got off track or something.
Gotta figure that one out.

I have all the black interior, but i'm considering Dying the tan carpet I have now red.... I really like the red carpet on black intr look....
I WILL NOT have red seats... It'll all be black except the carpet... I think it looks really good.

Alright so the sunroof broke so I went to Express Pull N Save and got another one for
$22, and $10 for the sunroof motor. It's a newer car so hopefully it's in better condition.

I didn't want to spend a week taking apart my sunroof and ordering one or two small parts, too much wasted time. So i just got another unit from the junkyard.

donor car

Sweet, Intr stripped and ready for easy removal!

Anyway, I'm going to try and clean the entire assembly, lube it up with white litheum grease and recover the fabric before installing it into my car...

And 10 minutes later it was out and after grabbing some other parts, valve cover and headlight I went home.

And the other side, with my 3yr old Vizsla "Di Vinci" checking out the new parts I brought home.

I'm going to strip and wash the valve cover, and repaint it. Probably Crinkle Red VHT Engine paint. Just for the hell of it...

I also got a valve cover gasket set, But I didn't want to wait on the valvecover paint so I'll just wait to replace it until I paint this new one....

Update:
Installed new sunroof unit. Works perfectly. Awesome.
Once I'm done with this house I'll be getting more work done on the car.

It was. But when it came time to trade I couldn't do it. Granite the trade wasn't anything nice.
I decided to keep it and just fix the problems. It's a beater but with some work it could be a clean little car

Ive been told that multiple times but I guess I got lucky. It did take about a hour though.
Removing it took 5 min at the junkyard, but it had no headliner etc... Oh well.
I sprayed white lith grease on the tracks/joints before install. Hopefully it lasts awhile.
Not a biggie... But once I list this house for sale I'll make more progress on the car.
I need to strip it, do some wiring and then start installing all that new intr I got.

I really wanna do red carpet, on black intr. I like the look.

Ive also seen some funny stuff, like this

Oh well.

So I went to Express pull n save and grabbed a few small pieces.

Got a Sunroof drain tube, Previous owner screwed the a pilliar in, which went through the hose. So it was leaking there.
Fixed.

I also got another rearview mirror, since mine fell off I got a nicer one.

I also got some window switches, so fixed those not working.
And I got some 3M window weld from Autozone to fix my Passenger window.
It came out of the mount on the bottom.

I'm thinking about going back, they had a nice hood and trunk that was recently painted.
Keep me from having to do body work on mine.

Alright so I bought a couple parts for the E36.

Figured I'd start the budget retrofit.

Mini D2S 3.0 Square Bi-Xenon Projectors

Probably ordering the HID kit today.

Alright just ordered the D2S HID Kit.

I considered doing a quad setup but i'm not worried about it. This retrofit will perform 100x better than the stock 92 lights.
