TRSCCA autox ON the road course at NSS

As some of you know, the November 2nd AutoX will be held on the road course portion of the Speedway. We will not be using the banks or the front stretch, the start and finish will be on pit road. Just to be clear on this so nobody gets the wrong idea, we will be adding autox elements to the road course to keep speeds in check with safety being the main concern. It's not going to be a free for all on the road course, there are track days for that.

With all the feedback we have received about this event, we have decided to put a cap on the event in the intrest of trying to make things run as smoothly as possible, the cap will be 150. If by chance the event fills up before hand, that doesn't mean you won't get a chance to race, there is always people who don't show, etc. So if you happen to miss out, you may want to show up anyway the day of the event to be first in line for any openings. Pricing for this event is same as always.

With all that said, this a AutoX event, not a drift event or a road race. Any showboating or anything of that nature and you will be removed from the speedway. If that is your thing, don't bother coming out, it's not what we do and it will not be tolerated. The use of the Speedway for a AutoX will more than likely turn into some special events in the future

HERE is a link to the registration site:

there are only about 20 slots left guys.

why does this have to be when i have no money????
wish i could participate :(
question... will the same apply to photographers inside the track as it does in the parking lot? meaning, i was told i could go anywhere on the track as long as i had a spotter with me to watch my back. will that apply to the event on saturday? I will be there regardless hopefully, but the good shots are always in places where you normally can't go

If you have a spotter I dont see why not. They may have some funky rules in place since its on the track, just ask the worker chief when hes handing out assignments and make sure youve signed the waiver.
well its confirmed i will be out there this weekend shooting pics. if anyone wants shots just pm me with what you drive and an email address i will do my best to get some good shots for you. the only thing i charge is just letting me make go for a ride around the track with ya... lol

fyi, 6 spots open, but i doubt everyone that pre-regged will show. this event is a must even if your not running. the competiton in ASP will be pretty wild, great photo-op also!

the course is suppose to be similar to this: http://vorshlag.smugmug.com/gallery/4882794_PPm2C#394579106_sZLrk which is a course setup on Texas motorspeedway :)

I would pull my welded diff out and drive but now that i may have a hair line fracture in my left collar bone and i rotated the whole left side of my rib cage and the vertabrits in my neck.. im pretty sure i wont be able to drive....

Actually, No. I designed the course and it should be much faster than that. Expect a lot of 3rd gear.
i seriously JUST put my welded diff in...oh well, next time :(
Anyone have pictures from the event? I was driving DSP68.
i have some pictures of a couple cars.. but it was on a manual camera because i felt like experimenting a little bit.. but i cant afford to develope the film right now
Wish I had of been out there to get some pics
