The front on the GT Street is better 
The TechArt though is always known to have bad understeer, I am surprised they havent tried to fix that yet. Sounds like the tires on the TechArt werent up to the task either. I wonder what tires were on both of them

I think the numbers might be skewed a little too. That 90k for the GTR is w/o all the Cobb shit though. The TechArt is about right
Porsches are pretty infamous for their understeer due to the engine being in the rear. I agree with TorqueJunkie in that I'm pretty surprised that Techart didn't try to compensate for that with the suspension and tires.
I'd agree, the GTR is a much better buy in terms of performance/dollar figures. For $60-80K you get an almost 500hp car with what I'm told is a top-notch suspension, but you have to pay almost twice that, if not more, for a 997 GT3.
Granted, with the 911, you get the "Porsche effect", but I'm not sure if that's even worth it anymore...

I'd STILL rather have the porsche, its better made and doesn't look like a bag of carbon fiber that got rammed up a bush hog. Plus, why would i want to pay 80K for a damn nissan?

Quick question....Whose comparing a Carrera GT v. GT-R?
I thought it was a Techart 911 v. GT-R....I would hope a half-million $ car was better than a $90k Nissan :lol:

I am truly astounded by the stupidity you display.
1. The transmission is a manual with automatic clutch (Used by Ferrari Lamborghini Audi VW Bugatti Maserati and other cars that have decided to take the
Archaic standard manual transmission and expound on it)
2. Who said anything about Carrera GT. Watch the video if that looks like a Carrera GT you should end your life.
3. Starting procedure in the gtr is 1. Sit in car 2. press brake pedal. 3. push and hold start button
4. “DO not drive fast and it voids warranty” have you seen the warranty coverage of similar like cars on the market can we say 1 year of 12K miles for

porsche's tranny is still working after this video - gtr's .... well, prolly not
theyre both fast cars - bottom line ... although id rather have the porsche simply because i think it looks better inside and out - the gtr's interior didnt impress me and the exterior is an oversized Nismo 350Z
