ok got my new car yesterday and its setting on stock suspension and is SCREAMING to be dumped. sooo, my question is BANG FOR BUCK what should i invest in? springs and struts? coilovers? anyone know some good brands and maybe some info on them, im on a very tight budget and dont want to spend a shit load, not asking for a great ride or track suspension just want something that will ride decent on a DD, also will have 17s on the car so clearance is a small issue thats why i was thinking something adjustable. please any help and info will be appreciated.

well..

you could could get lowering springs just to lower it...or ksport or skunk2 coilovers arent all that expensive. If you wanna be super cheap you can get on egay and buy some 20 dollar coilovers...just keep in mind it will ride like shit.

well..

in that case lowering springs will be the way to go..will ride better than garbage ebay junk..not adjustable, but if you have a set ride height you want, thats the way to go...look up tein or skunk 2 lowering springs for something like that...

thats the thing, i dont know what ride height i need with these wheels. so anyone thats ever had 17x7.5 on a dc or db let me know what you had to have, i just want a good flush top of tire to fender height.

trade u my dc for ur db . i got some lowering springs and its tucked with 17s. doesnt rub or anything. its ebay springs. it rides good with aftermarket struts. it gives it a smooth ride. ill go with springs if its for a daily.

could you post some pics of your car and what the drop rate of springs were that you used? wanna see how it sits.

eh, its a chance not really wanting to take, most people around here just cut shit and buy egay coilovers, price>quality in my town and it sucks.
